Project 6
Interior Design Description
This project showcases a modern, minimalist apartment interior defined by a monochromatic palette, clean lines, and a thoughtful use of light. The space is designed with functionality, comfort, and visual calm in mind, resulting in a sophisticated contemporary living environment.
Living Area
Living Room
The living room is built on minimalist principles — featuring a low, modular graphite sofa and a lightweight black coffee table.
A key element of the space is the decorative wall finished with vertical, irregular panels that introduce rhythm and give the interior an industrial, modern character.
The composition is complemented by contemporary artwork and an open steel-frame shelf, enhancing the loft-like aesthetic.
Kitchen & Dining Area
The kitchen combines matte blacks with soft greys, defined by clear geometry and streamlined forms. The upper cabinetry features a deep graphite finish, while the lighter lower cabinets give the space a sense of balance and openness.
A large black countertop forms a functional workspace and simultaneously acts as a peninsula. Its open construction on black steel legs adds an industrial touch, harmonizing with the raw pendant lighting suspended from articulated brackets.
The kitchen is completed with modern appliances, a dedicated wine niche, and subtle linear lighting that creates an atmospheric evening mood.
Entrance Hall
The entrance hall is designed with minimalist clarity and a strong focus on usability.
Its defining feature is a fully upholstered alcove with soft, tufted graphite panels that create a comfortable seating area and coat storage.
A large, organically shaped mirror brings lightness to the composition and visually expands the space.
Bathroom
The bathroom continues the aesthetic of the apartment — neutral stone-like tiles paired with bold black accents.
A minimalist vanity with clean fronts provides generous storage, including an illuminated open niche for towels.
A large circular mirror becomes the focal point, adding modern elegance.
A ceiling-mounted black steel rack for towels introduces a subtle industrial twist and serves as a practical, distinctive feature.
Bedroom
The bedroom is the most atmospheric space in the apartment.
Its dominant element is a striking feature wall finished in a textured, concrete-like material. A long headboard panel with integrated LED lighting highlights the structure of the wall and creates a peaceful, intimate ambiance.
The minimalist bed sits against a dark built-in nightstand, while a large round mirror adds depth and enhances the contemporary character of the room.
Summary
This interior is a cohesive, well-curated composition grounded in modern minimalism.
Raw textures, a restrained color palette, custom-designed details, and the contrast between light flooring and dark cabinetry come together to create a space that is elegant, functional, and timeless.
