Project 1
Segment Loft
The presented interior is a modern interpretation of the loft style, combining industrial rawness with refined functionality. The 130 m² space was designed to maintain the open character typical of lofts while creating friendly, comfortable zones for everyday living.
Modern elegance with an industrial touch
The dominant color palette is based on shades of grey, black, white, and natural wood. Raw textures, such as the decorative concrete wall and black metal accents (door frames, mirror, lighting fixtures), emphasize the industrial character of the interior. Minimalist built-in furniture in matte anthracite blends harmoniously with the rest of the space, creating a visually cohesive whole.
A thoughtfully planned functional layout
The interior was designed with attention to ergonomics and daily comfort. The kitchen, featuring a large geometric island, serves as the heart of the home — a place for gatherings and shared cooking. It remains open to the surrounding space, preserving the fluidity and spaciousness characteristic of lofts.
The hallway and circulation zones are subtly distinguished by the use of a distinctive flooring pattern: small light-colored tiles framed with contrasting black. This design choice organizes the space and guides the eye naturally towards the next rooms.
Light as an architectural element
Throughout the interior, built-in spot lighting with black fixtures has been used, aligning with the loft aesthetic. Linear lamps above the kitchen island and discreet LED lighting highlighting the walls add depth and atmosphere to the space.
Balanced rawness and coziness
Industrial elements are softened by the warmth of natural wood — particularly visible in the flooring of the living area and in details such as cabinet fronts and decorative accents. The space remains minimalist yet not austere — through the careful selection of materials and proportions, a balance between modernity and a homely character has been successfully achieved.
